As the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Joe Schwab is the driving force behind the vision, strategy, and culture that make Uniplex one of the leading commercial, residential, and restoration construction companies in the region.

With over 20 years of experience in Puget Sound-area construction, Joe is a unique leader in the industry, combining both a professional management background with many years working on job sites.

After growing up working as a laborer and carpenter in his family’s residential construction business, Joe went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration and Management from Gonzaga University. Upon returning to construction, Joe saw a huge opportunity to apply modern technology and management techniques to an industry steeped in old-school ways, and the philosophy that drives Uniplex construction was born.

Starting as a salesperson and later promoted to project manager, Joe rose through the ranks to his current position as CEO. Joe’s relentless focus on customer satisfaction, clean and transparent processes, and a genuine, welcoming culture are now the hallmarks of Uniplex. This approach has fueled the business, winning customers and attracting top talent from across the region. Growth has been so strong that Uniplex has been named one of the fastest growing companies in the region the past two years in a row.

Joe was also recognized in 2019 by the Puget Sound Business Journal for outstanding leadership of a family business, and under his leadership, Uniplex has received over a dozen excellence awards from the Master Builders Association.
